WHAT IS THE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE?

The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church that follows the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the church is now home to more than 2 million members worshipping in over 26,000 local congregations in 156 world areas. Each week, Nazarenes worship in more than 212 languages. The Nazarene church operates 35 medical clinics, hospitals, and training colleges for nurses. It also supports 14 liberal arts institutions, 5 graduate seminaries and 31 undergraduate Bible colleges and seminaries worldwide.
