Ministry Announcements

Our deepest condolences to Patricia Hollar in the sudden loss of her son, Matthew James Hollar. Visitation will be Monday, November 23, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Please remember the family in your prayers

The Annual All-Church Thanksgiving Dinner and Community Thanksgiving Dinner are being merged on Wednesday, November 25, at 6 p.m. in our Family Center. Come join us for an evening of fun, food and fellowship with our church family and our neighbors. If you picked a post-it note, thank you for your willingness, but please disregard. Instead, refer to the chart below and bring a healthy sized portion to help serve our church family as well as the community for this Thanksgiving event.

               A - M provide a vegetable and a dessert

               N - Z provide a vegetable and a salad

Due to an accidental fire last Saturday, Pastor Andrew's and Sidney's garage burned, including his truck. The truck was not covered by insurance and is a total loss. We have learned this week that since the garage was a separate structure from the house, their insurance covers a small percentage of the value. Several men in our church expressed an interest in receiving a love offering for Andrew and Sidney and we will do that over the next Sunday or two. If you would like to participate, please designate "Andrew" on your check. Thank you for your generous contribution.

Everyone is invited to a special meeting Monday, November 30, at 7 p.m. at Greenfield First Church regarding the future of Camp Camby. This meeting is open to pastors and laity.

Special Announcements

The Annual All-Church Thanksgiving Dinner and Community Thanksgiving Dinner are being merged on Wednesday, November 25, at 6 p.m. in our Family Center. We are serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and need your favorite dishes brought in! If you took a sticky note from the pumpkin display in the hallway between the foyer and the family center with an item to donate written on it, please bring that item as well. Much help is needed. Please see Dara Cook or sign-up at a welcome center to help serve. Let’s celebrate God’s blessing with our neighbors as a church family.

Our Church Board has decided to follow the Nazarene Missions International calendar which names the first Thursday of each month as a day of prayer and fasting. We are designating every Thursday as our day of prayer and fasting. Please join us as we remain focused on Him!
